Work on joint EAEU market continues
All the goals of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union must be achieved by 2025. This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. At the same time, Mikhail Myasnikovich emphasized that work on creating a joint market continues.
We are working on two agreements. This is an agreement on a common gas market. We plan to create equal conditions for business entities. And the second agreement is the introduction of electronic navigation seals, which will ensure the smooth movement of goods within our Union and for export, which will simplify domestic procedures this year.
Today, the indicators of trade in goods have been fulfilled by 3/4 of the benchmark set by EAEU Treaty. As for the service and labor market, about 60 % of the goals set have been implemented. The financial market is lagging behind. According to Mikhail Myasnikovich, in order to equalize positions, the member states of the Union will need to make additional joint efforts.
