Roman Golovchenko to visit Ufa and Kazan
Cooperation with Russia is now of particular importance for Belarus in terms of increasing and refocusing exports, said Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko.
On September 20-22, the government delegation headed by Prime Minister will visit Ufa and Kazan. As the press service of the government stated, the visit program is full of business meetings and the substantial dialogue at the enterprises.
"Cooperation with Russia is especially important for us mainly in terms of increasing Belarusian export and its reorientation to the Russian market. We work with Russian regions as planned. Late last year, the head of Bashkortostan visited Belarus. A Belarusian delegation visited Tatarstan. We need to maintain this momentum, regularly monitor the implementation of agreements reached and look for new niches for cooperation," said Roman Golovchenko.
"The goal is clear, these are specific new agreements to increase both the supply of Belarusian goods to these regions and the supply from Bashkortostan and Tatarstan of what is needed to ensure the sustainable operation of our industry," added the Prime Minister and stressed the maximum practical orientation of all meetings and negotiations.
