Nomination of candidates to upper house of Belarusian parliament begins today

The candidatures of senators will be nominated during a month at meetings of the presidiums of local councils and executive committees of the basic level. Another 8 people will be appointed by the Head of State. At the same time, the nomination to the House of Representatives and acceptance of applications for registration of initiative groups for the collection of signatures take place. You can also introduce your person at a congress from a political party or labor collective. The elections to the Council of the Republic will be held on November 7, and to the House of Representatives on November 17.
