Cooperation between Belarus and Russia in sports

Joint sports tournaments, cooperation in athletes training, counteraction to doping. These and other issues were the focus of the joint board of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus and the Ministry of Sports of Russia, which was held in Grodno. The parties adopted a joint calendar of tournaments, including at the amateur level. They also expressed their intention to develop import-substitution in the production of sports equipment. Belarus already has certain experience in this sphere. A number of agreements on cooperation in sports were signed at the joint board. The participants also agreed to develop not only this area, but also the tourism industry.
