Iranian Ambassador to Belarus tells about uniqueness of Islamic Revolution

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus Saeed Yari said in the studio of the program "Panorama" that the Islamic Revolution was one of the brightest and most important events of the 20th century.

"During those 44 years we have made significant progress in many areas. The Islamic Revolution made us realize that whatever we want, we can achieve on our own. Thanks to the Islamic Revolution, we gained independence - that's the most important thing. We were also able to become self-sufficient and learn to support ourselves with our own resources," Saeed Yari noted.

"I would like to give a few statistics as an example. We can say that in all scientific fields Iran ranks first in Asia. In the world, we are 4th in the field of nanotechnology. In the steel industry, we are 10th. For 44 years, while we were under strict sanctions, we got access to peaceful atom. I can say that the Islamic Revolution was a unique phenomenon of its time in the world," summed up the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus.
