Russian delegation arrives in Gomel to negotiate with Ukraine

The Russian side is ready for negotiations. Gomel was chosen as the place for an important conversation by the Ukrainians themselves.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov, and later confirmed by the presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who will lead the delegation at the talks with Ukraine.

"We are going to wait for a response from the Ukrainian side confirming their own decision to go to the talks in Gomel. As soon as we receive this confirmation, we will immediately move there and meet our fellow negotiators. We are in favor of peace," Medinsky said.
