Makei: Belarus opposes unilateral coercive measures
Belarus opposes the practice of applying unilateral coercive measures as a strategic tool of the West. The head of our Foreign Ministry Vladimir Makei voiced the position of Minsk at the ministerial meeting of the member states of the Group of Friends on the margins of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. Today, unilateral pressure measures pose a growing threat to the global security, in particular, they hit the most vulnerable segments of the population. Belarus is ready to make its contribution to the initiative of the Group of Friends to strengthening the role of the United Nations Charter, which guarantees equal rights for all participants.
