House of Representatives discusses cooperation between Belarus and Venezuela
Today, the issues of cooperation between Belarus and Venezuela were discussed in the House of Representatives. Chairman of the lower house of Parliament Vladimir Andreychenko also met with a special envoy of Venezuelan President Adan Chavez Frias. Our countries need to look for new points for further development of cooperation. This was stated by Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Sergey Klishevich during the meeting.
Our countries have always been close, especially a good foundation was laid under President Hugo Chavez. And contacts have not been ceased in spite of any restrictions. Our country and Venezuela have been under international pressure from the West and the United States of America for a long time, as we know. We have to look for new points of cooperation, including at the parliamentary level. We do not have a friendship group with the Venezuelan Parliament yet. It is very important for us to support each other on this issue. Although, of course, we have supported each other with our statements and at international platforms when facing unfair international pressure on our states.
Sergey Klishevich stressed that we should reset some areas of cooperation and discuss new possible projects.
