Eastern Economic Forum - 2022: Toward Multipolar World
The world will no longer be unipolar. That's it! Now is the time to build a new multipolar world. This was the theme of the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok. More than 7 thousand participants from 68 countries. Hundreds of new contracts. Representatives of business community of Belarus are also among the participants of the forum.
"Towards a multipolar world" - this has been the motto of many bilateral summits, forums and discussions of political scientists lately. The irreversible changes continue to take place in the world. And we all notice the emergence of new centers of power.
Global grain deception.
It turned out that once again they blatantly cheated. And not only us, but also poor countries under the pretext of securing their interests. But this is an obvious thing. Look at the reports: 80 ships, and only two went to the poorest countries, all the rest went to European countries.
The panic around the grain is no more than chatter, Alexander Lukashenko warned us a long time ago. And if everything is clear with grain, fertilizers are in demand all over the world too. If some partners do not guarantee the stability of transshipment of goods, thisis an occasion to promptly find others. Minsk, as always, managed to do it.
It is worth noting that multibillion-dollar tasks are at stake. After sanctions were imposed on Belarus, Minsk is interested in redirecting commodity flows totaling $16 billion from the markets of unfriendly countries.
The emergence of new centers of power is a trigger to search for new vectors of cooperation. The thesis "sanctions are time for new opportunities" is now shared not only within the framework of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, but also by the closest partners in the Eurasian Economic Union.
