The registration of candidates for deputies was completed during the week. There will be 560 contenders fighting for the signatures of voters. Therefore, the competition will be 5 people per seat in the House of Representatives. More than 65% of registered candidates are members of political parties.

The average portrait of a potential people's representative is a middle-aged man. Candidates' professional activities range from industry to education. By the way, only 27% of registered participants of the election race are women. In general, 703 people were nominated as candidates for deputies.

The contenders start a direct struggle for the votes. From tomorrow to November 6, the candidates will be speaking on the radio and TV. Radio performances will be held in the morning from 7:00 to 8:00. And the TV shows will be broadcast at 7:00 p.m. Candidates will also be able to speak on TV channel Belarus 3 from Monday. Elections to the House of Representatives are scheduled for November 17.
