Modernized socio-political system in Belarus to be human-oriented
Belarus is completing the modernization of its socio-political system. The main emphasis is on people's power and civil society involvement in the development of the state. It will give a high-priority to the human being. The civil society is given substantial powers in the nomination of delegates to the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. The parliamentarians discussed possible changes that will affect the activities of public associations and political parties.
Alexander Lukianov, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRYU:
“The today's platform outlines the role of public associations, their place in the political process, in legislative initiatives. We addressed the draft law on the National Assembly and civil society together with the deputies and leaders of public organizations.”
Modernization of the country's political institutions will be a step towards building sustainable mechanisms to stabilize the entire state system.
