Alexander Lukashenko: No mercy for corruption
There will be no mercy for corruption. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko today as his personnel decisions were announced.
In recent years, information has been publicized about high-profile corruption cases in a variety of areas, from energy to health. When appointing Alexander Guchok, the new chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission, the President noted: integrity, honesty and sincerity are the most important features of new leaders. Moreover, these words of the Head of State apply to all managers of the country without exception.
Today the leaders of Belarusian diplomatic representations abroad, state organizations and ministries became known. Gennady Trubilo, who served as deputy minister of housing and communal services, was promoted to the first deputy. His place will be occupied from now on by Vitaly Smirnov. Ex-chief of the Central district of Minsk Igor Buzovsky is now the deputy minister of information. Minsk region will be headed by Dmitry Petrusha. New deputy chairman in the Minsk regional executive committee is Nikolai Rogashchuk. Anatoly Schuplenkov will now head Belynichi district. Kruglyansk District will be headed by Ivan Bartashevich. Ex deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Vyacheslav Bril is now an ambassador in Nigeria and part-time in Ghana and Cameroon. Alexey Shved will head the consulate of Belarus in Istanbul. The new head at the Enterprise Belshina is Vladimir Karpyak.
