Alexander Lukashenko pays working visit to Mogilev region

The Head of State studied the novelty of Gomselmash model GS 21-24. At the moment it is the most powerful combine in Belarus. The throughput of 21 kilograms of grain per second allows one to work efficiently in fields with high yields. The model is equipped with the latest electronics which gives the possibility to control the machine practically without the assistance of the driver. The standards of exact farming are also maintained, the yield and moisture of the crop are automatically calculated. The tests in the field show positive results. The average yield in local fields is about 60 centners per hectare. This allows specialists to fully appreciate the possibilities of the new technology. In August 2017 the Head of State instructed to assemble the so-called super-harvester at Gomselmash. It took less than a year to fulfill the task.

In addition, the President discussed with the specialists the specifics of the work of the agricultural holding Kupalovskoye and possible options for its reorganization. The landmark for the use of seeds of domestic breeding concerns all agricultural organizations of the country. The yield of Belarusian varieties of grain crops is already much higher than that of the imported ones.
