Alexander Lukashenko: No new problems in Belarus-Russia relations
In the relations between Belarus and Russia, no new problems do appear and accumulate, although solutions are already delayed for the already known contradictions. The President of Belarus said this at a meeting with his Russian counterpart in his working residence in Sochi. The leaders' dialogue took place in the most confidential format of the tet-a-tet, and both the internal and the joint external agenda were substantively discussed
Vladimir Putin warmly greeted the guest on the terrace and invited him to a small room for negotiations.
Based on the analysis of the Belarusian leader, contradictions in the bilateral agenda as in any real and working mechanism do exist, but, firstly, they are not new, and secondly, the problems do not accumulate, unlike those that grow as a snowball in Russia's relations with the US and its allies.
In the international arena, Belarus has a balanced and coordinated position with Russia.
