Belarus ready to develop relations with Great Britain more actively

The President met with the Ambassador of that country yesterday. Fionna Gibb's diplomatic mission is coming to an end. For three and a half years she represented the interests of official London in Belarus. During this time, the relations in politics and the economy have intensified. The heads of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and the government visited Britain. Alexander Lukashenko noted the importance of productive cooperation between Belarus and the key world centers of power.

The British appreciated the role of Belarus in establishing a dialogue in the region. The President of Belarus urged not to waste time and to determine new areas of cooperation for Minsk and London. And Fiona Gibb calls to take into account the important geopolitical role of Belarus in Europe.

Fionna Gibb plans to continue her career in London at the British Foreign Ministry. She stressed that cooperation with Belarus is developing positively, and there is great potential for the future.
