Belarusian Foreign Minister tells about Lukashenko's agenda at summit in Baku
Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov spoke about the planned meetings of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the margins of the World Summit on Climate Change in Baku, BELTA reports.
"First of all, of course, there will be a meeting with our great friend President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan. As the presidents agreed during the last meeting in May, the implementation of the agreements that were reached then will be assessed. We are ready to discuss all these issues, there is movement in all areas today, first of all, trade and economic cooperation," said Maxim Ryzhenkov.
The Belarusian head of state is also scheduled to meet with colleagues from Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America on the margins of the summit. "The bilateral agenda will be worked out, and first of all the issues of trade and economic cooperation," said the minister. - I am sure that given the elections in the United States, a certain transformation of views around the world on the possibility of resolving the Ukrainian conflict is likely, our interlocutors will also be interested in the opinion of Belarus on the conflict in Ukraine, given the "weight" of our President, his involvement in many processes and peace initiatives.
