Lukashenko: If the security of our peoples is threatened, we will respond adequately

If the security of our peoples turns out to be under a real threat, we will respond adequately. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this at a meeting in honor of Independence Day, BelTA informs.

"If the statehood, independence, territorial integrity and security of our peoples are under a real threat, we will respond adequately, without even thinking. Do not test our Slavic patience and our fate," warned the Belarusian leader.

"It is now fashionable to talk about the centers of decision-making. Well, we know the coordinates of these centers to the millimeter. And the day before yesterday they were clearly and distinctly defined and approved by me on the military maps. We must sit down at the negotiating table and start building a new security system in the region. I have been calling for this for a long time. And let's create peacefully for the benefit of our peoples," the Head of State urged.
