Lukashenko: We build peace together! This is the main mission of the Slavyanski Bazaar

The President of Belarus attended the grand opening of the arts festival "Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk". Alexander Lukashenko gave the start of the festive gala concert - an event that the whole country has been waiting for, without exaggeration, for a whole year.

"We all, the participants, organizers, guests, create here an amazing atmosphere of true, real art, which unites peoples and states. Art, which is beautiful with its national coloring, which is truly high, always rising above political games and intrigues," the Belarusian leader stressed.

"The motto of the festival "Through Art - to Peace and Mutual Understanding" has never been as relevant as it is today. Slavic unity, the unity of all sensible people is being tested again. But here, in Vitebsk, from year to year we see how it is only getting stronger. And we have more friends. Performers from the farthest parts of the world perform on this stage. Coming to us, they say No to all the artificially created barriers between peoples and countries, all the imposed stereotypes and opinions about our countries," Alexander Lukashenko said.

"From year to year, gathering under the dome of the Vitebsk amphitheater, we together - Belarusians, Russians, and, I am sure, many Ukrainians and our guests - create peace! And this is the main mission of the Slavonic Bazaar," the President said
