Lukashenko sends condolences to President of Iran in connection with victims of explosions in Kerman
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of condolence to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi in connection with the numerous human casualties as a result of a series of explosions during mourning events in the city of Kerman, the press service of the Belarusian leader reports.
"It is with deep pain and sorrow that Belarus has taken the news of numerous human casualties as a result of a series of explosions during the mourning events in the city of Kerman," reads the letter of condolence. - The Republic of Belarus strongly condemns any manifestations of extremism and terrorism. What happened is a crime that greatly disturbs peace and security not only in Iran, but also in the entire region," the letter of condolence runs.
On behalf of his compatriots and on his own behalf, the Belarusian head of state expressed condolences to the families of the victims, wished speedy recovery to the injured, and also addressed words of support to the President of Iran and the people of this country.
