President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko compares consequences of natural disasters in Belarus with a war without shooting
"People still take offense: this is not done, that is not done. You know that in the morning and evening I was constantly in interrogation mode communicating with members of the government, ministers, who were engaged in this. I instructed to see what hasn't been done, how people react, that the State Control Committee and the chairman of the State Security Committee reported on the problems," said Alexander Lukashenko.
At the same time, he noted that there are such citizens, for whom everything will always be bad. "People don't want to realize that it's an emergency situation. It's just war, only there's no firing of machine guns and machine guns. It's the same as in a war. And no one asks the question: what did you do to overcome this disaster?" - the President noted.
He drew attention to the fact that there are citizens who help to remove debris and fallen trees, assist utility workers. "Real men," the head of state characterized them. On the other hand, there are also those who expect the authorities to solve all the problems and do not lift a finger.
