Lukashenko about relations with Putin: No one has such level of relations

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with American broadcaster NBC answered to the question of how his relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin are developing now.

"If we talk about our personal relations with President Putin, well, they were not always cloudless. You know that we both argued and quarreled at times, but we did that as the closest friends and reliable partners. As I once said, no one had such a level of relationship as that between the presidents of Belarus and Russia. This is first of all. Secondly, our relationship has enhanced recently, it got stronger. We absolutely trust each other. So there are almost no problems in communication," said the Belarusian leader.

The NBC journalist also asked the Belarusian head of state to describe Vladimir Putin's current state - what he thinks. "It's not what you think in the West and the United States. He is an absolutely sensible, healthy, athletically fit man. He is an absolutely sensible person," assured the President of Belarus
