Western politicians put Europe's head on the nuclear guillotine with their own hands. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated so at the Independence Day festive meeting, as BelTA reports.

"Just as during the Great Patriotic War, the traitors and collaborators were presented as Belarusian partisans fighting the communist regime. For them it all ended tragically - with a tribunal and a scaffold. Those who hid or were hidden across the ocean came inti oblivion and infamy. If anyone wants to repeat it, that's their choice. Not the smartest one, considering the changed line-up of the forces," noted Alexander Lukashenko.

The President emphasized that there is only one intrigue in this story: "Do Western politicians realize that they are putting the head of Europe on the nuclear guillotine with their own hands? Do they seriously think that they will get away with a small sacrifice - Vilnius? God forbid, if the worst war in history breaks out, not only Warsaw, Kiev or Vilnius, we, Europe as a civilization, will disappear. But they don't want that. Neither do we. Belarus and Russia are not interested in such an outcome.
