Lukashenko signs decree "On transfer of state bodies and other organizations to work in wartime conditions"

.President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree "On the transfer of state bodies and other organizations to work in wartime conditions". This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The document improves the procedure for transferring state bodies and other organizations from peacetime to wartime work, ensuring their coordinated and effective interaction in case of threats to national security, taking into account changes in military and political conditions.

The Decree defines the range of State bodies to which it applies, including the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, the chambers of the National Assembly, the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court.

The decree also provides for the possibility of awarding military ranks to the heads of certain state bodies and a number of organizations during the declaration of martial law.

The decree will make it possible to ensure systematic and uninterrupted functioning of the state apparatus during the period of growing military threat and in wartime.
