Lukashenko: Realization of joint projects will create a solid foundation for the establishment of cooperation ties between Belarus and Chad
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Republic of Chad Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno and the people of this country on Independence Day. This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Liberation from colonialism and declaration of independence in 1960 became the beginning of a new stage in the history of Chad, opened the way to independent development in all sectors. Minsk supports the foreign policy approaches of N'Djamena, which are based on the principles of peaceful coexistence, respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states," the congratulatory message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed his conviction that the establishment of fruitful bilateral cooperation is in the interests of the citizens of both countries.
"We are ready to share with our Chadian partners our achievements in industry, agriculture, health care, education. The implementation of joint pilot projects will create a solid foundation for the establishment of cooperation ties between Belarus and Chad, will contribute to the formation of a contractual framework," the President emphasized.
The Head of State wished Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno good health, happiness and success, and the friendly people of Chad peace and prosperity.
