Minsk and New Delhi need to develop more actively their economic relations

Such a statement was made at the meeting of the Belarusian President with the speaker of the lower chamber of the Indian parliament.

The parliamentary delegation of this country is on a visit in our country. The leaders of Belarus and India met in Qingdao, China. The venue of the meeting was the platform of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The development of Belarusian-Indian relations was discussed by Alexander Lukashenko and the Prime Minister of India.

As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached to localize Belarusian industrial giants - Gomelmash, MTZ and MAZ. Last year, the commodity turnover of the countries approached half a billion dollars. Belarus is ready to participate in the state programs of India, which are aimed at supporting national production.
