Official visit of Belarus President to Uzbekistan starts

Uzbekistan is rich in gold and of natural gas. It develops ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, actively builds railways. All of these facilities cannot do without reliable technology produced by Belarusian partners. The new authorities of Uzbekistan have se t a course for large-scale reforms in the public sector, the economy, and the social sphere. Great importance is attached to attracting investment, last year the country received $ 3 billion. Uzbekistan is open to the world, it began to make money on tourism. In 2017, the country was visited by 2.5 million foreigners. Minsk and Tashkent have serious plans for joint projects in light industry, agricultural machinery, product supplies. They were discussed in detail by top managers of the two countries today during a business forum. The countries actively develop regional ties.
Tomorrow the leaders of Belarus and Uzbekistan will make a joint statement for the media. A large-scale exhibition Made in Belarus will be held in Tashkent for the whole week. More than 150 enterprises will show their products and developments. The parties will sign more than 10 documents that expand cooperation in various fields. We can say with confidence: tomorrow will become a new benchmark in relations between Minsk and Tashkent.
