On December 4, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 454, which approved the draft protocol on amendments to the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia on measures to settle trade and economic cooperation in the export of oil and oil products of January 12, 2007 as a basis for negotiations.
This protocol provides for the extension of the agreement until December 31, 2026 and then for subsequent annual periods with the preservation of the existing norms.
The Government of Belarus is authorized to negotiate the draft document and sign it.
