Alexander Lukashenko meets with FIBA Secretary General

Yesterday, the President of Belarus met with Patrick Baumann, the Secretary General of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

Belarus advocates fair play and transparency in sports. This position was voiced by the President. The Secretary General supported the position of Alexander Lukashenko regarding the development of sport in general. He also thanked the Belarusian side for the organization of the U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 that is taking place in Minsk these days.
