Only the strongest will win, said the President today to the participants and delegates of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, meeting with them at the Independence Palace.
For many of the young guests, these are the first steps in getting to know our country. Moreover, it is known that for some of the participants this is the first trip abroad.
Well, the most pleasant addition to the excursion was a personal meeting with the President. Alexander Lukashenko met this creative youth delegation in the winter garden of the Palace of Independence. In an easy and open communication, there was a place for serious competition. The main thing is that the winner should be determined fairly, the President shared his opinion.
In memory of the meeting, participants, delegates and organizers of the competition presented Alexander Lukashenko with a small gift, a the symbolic main prize of the children's song contest. This is a transparent glass microphone with colored lines that symbolize the flow of sound. But we will know who will become the owner of the original award this Sunday, when the Junior Eurovision final will take place at the Minsk-Arena. The European Broadcasting Union was forced to change the rules due to the large number of applications. As a result, representatives of 20 countries came to Belarus, and this is a record in the history of the competition.
