President: Economic cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam needs to be tightened to the level of political relations

Economic cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam should be brought to the level of political relations. This was discussed today in the Palace of Independence.

President Alexander Lukashenko, while referring to the Ambassador of Vietnam Le Yen, who completes the diplomatic mission, for the work done in three years.. The ambitious task is to increase the trade turnover by two and a half times by the end of next year. This was agreed last summer by the leaders of the two countries, during the official visit of the President of Vietnam to Belarus.

A big economic talk between the countries is expected in December, the exhibition "Vietnam Expo" will be held in Ho Chi Minh City. Almost three dozen Belarusian companies have already confirmed their participation in it. The forum will be the main negotiating platform of the Asian region for concluding profitable contracts.
