President tests new products of domestic military-industrial complex
New military and special equipment of domestic production was presented to the President today. Alexander Lukashenko familiarized himself with samples developed by Belarusian specialists at a test site in the Ivatsevichi district. The Head of State emphasizes that time dictates the need to create new state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment, as well as to modernize the existing ones. In recent years, Belarus has had to adjust the Armed Forces to modern conditions several times. The experience of wars and local conflicts on the planet, the development of technical means were taken into account. Over the years of sovereignty, the country has gone through many stages. Belarus has retained what it inherited from the former Soviet Union and adapted it to the existing conditions. Alexander Lukashenko notes that even in peacetime, the powder must be kept dry. The priority task is to protect Belarus. The most modern army and the appropriate weapons are necessary for this.
After the inspection of the weapons, a practical demonstration of their capabilities took place. Conditional targets were hit with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles of various modifications. Snipers worked at the site in conjunction with a robotic combat complex and heavy equipment. The navigation bombing system was also tested.
Independence in the manufacture and modernization of weapons is the priority for any country. Even with the most reliable allies we should only rely on ourselves. From such an angle, domestic developments look particularly impressive: a robot machine gun, drones of the new era, a navigation bombing system and tanks that have not only gained a new life, but are also ready to work for many years.
Belarus is a peaceful country. There are no even possible opponents in the military doctrine of our state. But we have an opportunity to follow the trends of the world military industry, and even overtake colleagues from other countries.
Full-scale armed conflicts are unlikely in the current realities. There are other ways of confrontation in the world. But the task of the armed forces is to be impenetrable, calm and ready.
