Litmus paper for government. President criticizes officials for undue work of enterprises of Orsha district

The President has criticized the quality of work carried out for the development of Orsha Tool-Making Plant.

The local authorities and the leadership of the industry have failed to implement the instructions made by Alexander Lukashenko.

The Head of State has found out that the tasks are not being properly implemented. There is no order in the territory. Everything is done hastily and poorly there. At the premises of the plant the President refused to follow the proposed route and went through the entire plant in order to fully evaluate the production chain - from the acceptance of raw materials to the release of finished products. The President saw terrible working conditions, in which dozens of people work. The production focused on equipment of large industrial enterprises, can not fully satisfy the demand of customers. The problem is in out-of-date equipment and mismanagement. In one of the workshops, the President instructed to repair the roof and organize production using new machines. But the main thing is to bring everything in perfect order. The officials do not have much time for this.

During the working trip the President visited a number of large enterprises. Orshaagroprommash shall ensure break-even work, order and optimization of the territory, competent logistics of the production process. Problematic issues were also discussed at the local meat-packing plant. Alexander Lukashenko instructed to make it one of the best enterprises in the industry by November 2020. A superficial approach and the hope that the President will not visit any of the workshops are not normal for any enterprise, especially for key producers in the region.

Alexander Lukashenko announced his plans to visit Orsha district on August 7 at a meeting with government members and regional leaders. The President pointed out that the visit would become a litmus test paper in the work of the government.
