Alexander Lukashenko meets with active Belarusian youth
Komsomol movement has turned 100 years old.
Today the active Belarusian youth has met President Alexander Lukashenko. About four hundred children were invited to the Palace of Independence, these are members and employees of the Youth Union, and winners of national competitions.
The conversation with the youth turned out to be frank, they discussed a variety of topics. Among them there are global issues, attitudes towards state symbols, the future of youth organizations in our country They also talked about who and why is trying to seize the minds of the younger generation today. In a conversation with young people, Alexander Lukashenko named the areas that will become growth points for the country - this is the space industry, IT, nuclear energy.
About 400 hundred people were invited to the Palace of Independence: they are active and employees of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, winners and participants of competitions, projects and programs of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. Such discussions are an opportunity to honestly, frankly talk not only about the future of the Organization, but also about any issues across the whole country.
The era of globalization, information wars, the imposition of imaginary values and the pursuit of material - in all this whirlwind it is difficult to determine who is right and to choose one’s own path.
And although 100 years have passed since the founding of the Komsomol, the concepts of friendship, unity, love of country and faith in the future do not lose their relevance.
There are 400 thousand activists in the ranks of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. 1,400 volunteer units brought together almost 50,000 young people. They are always ready to repair the playground or to equip the park. They are engaged in the improvement of memorable places in Belarus and abroad. Of course, first of all it is worth doing something. That turns out well. But the Head of State is waiting for other initiatives, with the promised support.
