President makes new personnel appointments in police, media and regional administrations

The today’s personnel decisions of the President touch on the Interior Ministry, the local vertical and the media. Several new heads of internal affairs departments were appointed in the regions: Alexander Astreiko will head the police department of Minsk Region, Oleg Shulyakovsky will take a similar position in Brest Region, Dmitry Rezenkov was appointed the head of Grodno police. While addressing the law enforcement agencies, the President reminded of the necessity of precise and coordinated work on ensuring security in the country.

Friday personnel decisions also affected Belteleradiocompany: Sergei Gusachenko was appointed by the head of the state First Deputy Chairman of BT. Dmitry Primshits was appointed Deputy Chairman of Belteleradiocompany.

Yury Valevaty was appointed the First Deputy Chairman of Grodno Regional Executive Committee, Denis Kurlenko will be the Deputy Chairman of Minsk Region Executive Committee. Dmitry Zakharchuk has been approved by the President as the Chairman of Voronovо District Executive Committee. The head of Lenin District of Grodno will be Igor Bobyr. Their main task is not to delay the sowing campaign and to work correctly with people.
