Condolences to family members and close ones of Vasily Michurin, Hero of the Soviet Union

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has expressed his sincere condolences to family members and close ones of Vasily Michurin, the Hero of the Soviet Union.

"A man of great personal courage, inflexible firmness, a true patriot of his Fatherland has passed away. Vasily Michurin is a vivid representative of the generation of heroes-victors. His life is an example of selfless service to his country and people, loyalty to high civil values and ideals, moral and ethical principles," the letter of condolence reads.

"The blessed memory of the hero will always live in our hearts," said the Belarusian leader.
