Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin hold phone talks

The relevant issues of the Belarusian-Russian cooperation and a schedule of forthcoming contacts were discussed by Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin. A telephone conversation took place today on the initiative of the Russian side. The leaders confirmed the need to hold a meeting, which was agreed in Sochi last week. It is planned that the negotiations will be attended by the Prime Ministers of Belarus and Russia, vice-premiers responsible for the oil and gas complex and agriculture, as well as the ministers of finance. The preliminary date of this meeting is September 21.
