The results of the work and development of the military-industrial complex were discussed today at a meeting of the President with the Chairman of the State Military and Industrial Committee. Belarus retained a production base and powerful scientific schools that allow for creation of modern weapons for protection. Unfortunately, the demand for precision weapons is growing in the world. Belarus produces defense systems that are a major deterrent in the current difficult situation on the planet. In general, enterprises of the Belarusian military industrial complex are working effectively. Alexander Lukashenko set the task to keep the pace and double the financial indicators.

Opportunities to create advanced weapons were demonstrated to the Head of State in early October at the test site in the Ivatsevichi district. The Belarusian army is equipped today in accordance with the best international standards. The efforts of the developers will be focused on the further development of rocket production.

The multiple launch rocket system of the new generation Polonez is in fact the first complete development of the Belarusian scientists. Among the priorities is the creation of a line of attack unmanned aerial systems of various types. They can significantly strengthen the aviation group. Well-equipped Armed Forces ensure quick and adequate response to emerging threats and a guarantee of stability.

An important indicator of effectiveness is exports. Annual growth is observed here: since 2004, product deliveries have increased almost 7 times and reached a billion dollars.
