After requiem meeting in Trostenets all leaders hold bilateral meetings in Palace of Independence

After the requiem meeting in Trostenets all the leaders went to the Palace of Independence, where bilateral meetings were held. Thus, the Austrian side highly appreciated the contribution of Belarus to the preservation of the European memory. Alexander Lukashenko, in turn, noted the significant contribution of Austria to the strengthening of regional security.

The importance of negotiations in the modern world was discussed during a meeting with the leader of the German state. Alexander Lukashenko thanked Germany for the enormous contribution to the normalization of relations between Belarus and the EU. In turn, Frank-Walter Steinmeier gave the highest assessment of the role of Belarus in overcoming the biggest crisis on the European continent.

Also, the German President expressed special gratitude for the invitation to open the second stage of the memorial in Trostenets.
