What Lukashenko replied to US official on intimidation in correspondence

During his speech at the II Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko told about his correspondence with a U.S. official, BelTA informs.
According to the head of state, he recently had to correspond with a high-ranking U.S. official through intermediaries.
“They were scaring us that 'if you God forbid help Russia and go into Ukraine, 'if you do something there, we will impose such sanctions, we will start a war with you.' I wrote them “try” about the war. And about sanctions (this is important): “We are people of faith. I won't talk about the response,” the President did not reveal the intrigue.
