Trampoline athlete Ivan Litvinovich brings gold to Belarus at Olympics in France

19-year-old debutante of the Games Violetta Bordilovskaya opened the box of Belarusian awards in Paris. She won silver.

Olympic champion of Tokyo Ivan Litvinovich won his second gold medal. The 23-year-old trampolinist showed a brilliant result and left no chance to his rivals. The President of Belarus congratulated the two-time Olympic champion in trampolining, emphasizing: “You are our pride!”

The triumph of the Belarusian Ivan Litvinovich is unconditional, and many sports fans know that this guy comes from the small Belarusian town of Vileika. Ivan became a super champion under the guidance of Olga Vlasova. Representatives of the Belarusian trampoline school have been winning gold medals for the country for the third Olympics in a row.

Already in qualification our athlete declared his ambitions for gold, having won the qualifying tournament. In the final, Ivan was the penultimate competitor, knowing perfectly well the scores of his main competitors - Chinese representatives Wang Zisai and Yang Langyu.

As a result, Litvinovich received a score of 63.09. This was enough to become the first double Olympic champion in the history of trampoline jumping.
