Belarus and Russia to create joint handball league

It is necessary to save the game rhythm and keep the entertainment of the matches in the domestic arena. In the conditions of politically motivated decisions of the International Handball Federation to remove Belarusian and Russian teams from international competitions, the handball federations of the two countries are going to be united, and in the near future they plan to create a single league.

Four men's teams and two women's teams from each country will play in a joint Belarusian-Russian league.
