Belarusian rythmic gymnasts return from World Cup in Tashkent

The performance of our graces at the World Cup in Tashkent turned out a triumph. Despite tough competition, our girls won eight medals, including in the Olympic programme. Anastasia Salos and our women's team won bronze in all-round events. Alexander Lukashenko sent a letter of congratulations to our gymnasts for their success at the World Cup. "The whole collection of medals won in uncompromising competition with the leaders of the world gymnastics is an excellent result," the congratulatory message reads.

Alina Gornosko climbed onto the top step of the podium in Uzbekistan in the ribbon combination; the Belarusians also claimed gold in the group exercise with three hoops and two pairs of clubs. The President congratulated the rhythmic gymnastics team on its medal performance.
