Belarusian swimmers to be allowed to participate in international starts

The World Aquatics has approved the participation of Belarusian and Russian swimmers in international starts in a neutral status. As noted in the message, the athletes will compete only in those disciplines, where the time or result is determined by single performances. At the same time, one swimmer from Belarus and one from Russia will compete in only one of the disciplines in tournaments under the auspices of the International Federation. Thus, the athletes will not take part in group starts or duets in synchronized swimming, synchronized diving and relays in swimming.
