Brest hosts Belarus Open Cup in Paralympic swimming - Belarusians have 6 medals in the first day

Brest hosts Belarus Open Cup in swimming among Paralympic athletes. The tournament is held according to a non-standard system, there are no preliminary heats and the only attempt is counted. According to the results of the first day, the Belarusian swimmers won six medals and the result of Igor Boki in 50 meters freestyle is even better than the time shown by the winner of the recent world championship.

The opening ceremony was held at the "Brest Fortress-Hero" complex. Athletes had time to get familiar with the unique historical memorial and many of our guests were here for the first time.

During the tournament the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Paralympic Committees of Belarus and Russia will take place.
