Joint handball league of Russian and Belarusian clubs to be created

The handball federations of Russia and Belarus signed an agreement on cooperation, RIA Novosti reported. One of the results of such integration will be the creation of joint handball league which will consist of four teams from each participating country. According to the head of the Belarusian Handball Federation Vladimir Konoplev, preference will be given to the teams, which will take the first four places in the national championship.
