Daria Domracheva officially completes her sports career

Daria Domracheva announced her decision to the journalists today at a specially convened press conference at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Minsk. Daria stressed that the main motive for this choice was the inability to find a compromise between the upbringing of her child and the professional career of a biathlonist.

Daria Domracheva is the only biathlonist in history, who is a 4-time Olympic champion. Daria’s husband Ole Einar Bjorndalen came to the press conference to support her.
