Federation of Phygital Sports may appear in Belarus
The creation of a federation of phygital sports is being considered in Belarus. This was reported to journalists by Minister of Sports and Tourism Sergei Kovalchuk, writes BELTA.
"The issue has been discussed for a long time. We can say it's being worked out," said Sergei Kovalchuk. - A similar federation, for example, has recently appeared in Uzbekistan and a year ago - in Russia".
Kazan is hosting the international multi-sport tournament "Future Games" from February 21 to March 3. It is a high-tech show consisting of competitions in classical sports and their digital analogs. Over 270 teams and more than 2 thousand athletes from 107 countries will take part in the tournament. Belarusians will compete in several disciplines - phygital basketball, phygital soccer and phygital unicycling, robot battle, drone race, virtual cycling and "World of Tanks". In total, about 70 of our compatriots came to the tournament (some of them were part of multinational teams).
