Lukashenko congratulates MAZ-SPORTavto team on victory at Silk Way rally-raid

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the MAZ-Sportavto team on winning the Silk Way rally-raid. This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Belarusian crew of the MAZ-SPORTavto team of Sergei Vyazovich became the winner of the Silk Road rally-raid, which ended in Moscow.

According to the results of the rally Sergey Vyazovich's crew showed the best result - 24 hours 22 minutes 14 seconds. Eduard Nikolaev's team (24.34.00) from KAMAZ-master is on the second position, and another KAMAZ-master pilot Andrei Karginov (24.28.48) is on the third place.

Belarusian crews first took to the start of the "Silk Way" in 2010 and now for the first time became its winners. Only crews of the KAMAZ-master team have won before. This motor rally has been held since 2009. In different years its route passed through Russia, as well as Central Asia and China. This time the start was given on July 6 in Kazan, the total length of the distance over 13 Russian regions was more than 5.2 thousand km.
