Olympic Games in Tokyo, current competitions results

Olga Khudenko and Marina Litvinchuk have come 6th in the Kayak and Canoe Sprint at the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games. The team of New Zealand won the race.

Unfortunately Oleg Yurenia failed to make it to the finals in the Kayak single 1000m event. Tatiana Kholodovich failed to pass the qualification stage in the women's javelin throw event. The final group of 12 athletes will compete on Friday, August 6 at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.

Kirill Maskevich from Borisov performed today in the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in the 87kg category. The Belarusian World Cup winner was opposed by strong Egyptian Mohamed Metwali who turned out stronger in the 1/8 finals.

Vitaly Porokhonko was 0.02 seconds short of making it to the second round in the 110m hurdles - the Belarusian came fifth in his group. The first four athletes are moving on to the next round. In synchronized swimming Vasilina Khandoshkina and Daria Kulagina are fighting for a place in the finals.
