On the last day of the Olympic Games in Tokyo there was a closing ceremony, which was traditionally held in the main arena of the competitions. The flag bearer of our team was pentathlete Ilya Polozkov. The organizers abandoned the expensive and multimedia show, which usually opens and closes the main sporting event of the planet. Instead, viewers saw a modest format, but, of course, with a unique Japanese flavor. After the Olympic flag was lowered, it was solemnly carried in front of the central podium, to which a limited number of distinguished guests were invited. Ordinary spectators, as you know, could not get in. The Olympic flame was extinguished in the bowl, and an artillery salute was performed. Thus, the Tokyo Games are officially over.
